Incised UC4 Round Fencing 15 Year Warranty
Unlike other alternatives on the market, our incised fencing is peeled rather than machine round. Keeping the timber in its natural shape does not damage its strength like other machine round alternatives. As standard, all of our fencing posts and strainers are pointed on the thicker end, to ensure the post/strainer cannot be slackened or pulled out of the ground easily by stock. However, we can produce fencing with points on the thinner end if required. All of our fencing have 4 way anti-twist points.
We are able to offer a 15-year performance guarantee for Incised posts and strainers because of our quality treatment process:
All of the timber we use is peeled to remove all skin and bark so it can be dried. When timber is dried of moisture prior to treatment it allows the cells to be saturated with Celcure C65® preservative.
Incising is carried out on each post in an area just below and above ground level at the pointed end of the post – this is the critical area that requires the very best protection. Surface incising of ground contact timbers prior to high pressure treatment ensures a consistent depth of preservative penetration to provide the fencing with a long-life guarantee.
All of our Incised Fencing is pressure treated with Celcure C65® wood preservative. With more than 25 years of empirical evidence in locations throughout Europe, North America, Australia and Japan, Celcure® preservatives have a proven track record of performance against wood decay and insect attack.
